Intransit Couriers was established in 1976. We specialise in dedicated deliveries throughout the U.K. & Europe. The vehicle that collects your goods drives directly to the destination with no stops or diversions on the way. For further destinations in Europe we will send 2 drivers in order to maintain a speedy delivery time.
Our client list includes Solicitors, Printers, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, A / V Companies, Communications Companies, Banks, Advertising Agencies, and Computer orientated firms. We are accustomed to carrying delicate/high value loads. We also deliver “line stoppers” for the major car companies and so understand the need for fast deliveries. All drivers are equipped with a mobile phone so their progress can be checked at any point of the journey. Some of our customers have been using our services for over 30 years.

Our vehicles range from small cars to long wheelbase / maxi roof Transit vans + Box Trailer capable of carrying up to 2600 kgs. We can also arrange larger vehicles if required. There is a fixed rate for each type of vehicle. You will be given a quote on enquiry which will be the final cost invoiced. There are no hidden charges. We offer our services 24 hours a day 7 days a week. All deliveries are signed for on Intransit paperwork, a copy of which is sent to you with your invoice as a proof of delivery. We will also get signatures on any paperwork you provide if required.

As a fully accredited member of the UK’s largest courier exchange site we have access to over 3000 vehicles nationwide (from motorcycles to 44tonne articulated lorries) from like minded companies as ourselves, so should you require a collection anywhere in the UK, to go to any destination UK or European, we can arrange this and have your goods collected usually within the hour.
ECONOMY SERVICE
As well as arranging out of area collections we can also arrange an economy service for your goods that require less urgent delivery.
Unlike the services offered by the overnight carriers this service differs as you will still be getting a dedicated vehicle for your goods as opposed to them being collected and transhipped a number of times which can result in loss or damage.
We achieve this by utilising the service of our network partners to find you a vehicle that is returning towards the area your goods are being delivered to.
i.e. You have 2 pallets in Birmingham to go to Preston and 1 of our partners have a vehicle delivering in Oxford and returning to Manchester. He will collect your goods and take them direct to the destination. As he is already returning in that direction the cost for the delivery is charged at a lower rate than a dedicated vehicle from a Birmingham company.
